T7500M - ProComp Infiniti Encoder - 8 Channel

The ProComp Infiniti™ is an 8 channel, multi-modality encoder which connects to your Windows desktop or laptop PC via a USB port and offers all the power and flexibility you need for real-time, computerized biofeedback and data acquisition in any clinical or research setting. It can also store data on a Compact Flash memory card, for uploading later to the PC, or use an optional long-range compact flash telemetry module to offer a wide range of recording options.

A full selection of physiological sensors, including EKG and blood volume pulse (heart rate), respiration belt, EMG (muscle tension), skin conductance, temperature, brainwaves, and forehead temperature allows you to take full advantage of all the tools provided by the 360 Suite.

The first two sensor channels provide ultimate signal fidelity (2048 samples per second) for viewing RAW EEG, EMG, EKG, and BVP signals. The remaining six channels (256 samples/sec) can be used with any combination of sensors, including EEG, EKG, skin conductance, heart rate, blood volume pulse, respiration and passive infrared HEG. ProComp Infiniti™ offers internal, user-activated calibration to ensure that you can always obtain the highest quality signal, without the costly downtime associated with factory re-calibration.

In short, the ProComp Infiniti covers the full range of objective physiological signals used in clinical observation and biofeedback.

BioGraph Infiniti Software

BioGraph Infiniti Software is the core of all our Biofeedback and Psychophysiology products. It provides a multimedia rich graphical experience, while capturing and analyzing raw data. It also includes all the features and functions required to run our specialized application Suites.

Z-Score 6 Suite

This Z-Score 6 Suite will allow the user to perform z-score assessment and training with in two ways: using the z-score value itself, or using a metric, called the z-score index, which is indicative of the state of a group of z-scores.

The z-score index tells us at a given moment how many of a pre-selected group of z-scores are within a certain threshold range. This threshold range is user-definable and can be modified on-the-fly. The user also has the choice of which z-scores to include, and can do so easily at any time during the session. The suite includes 4 pre-set z-score indices.

These are:

• z-score index (includes all z-scores)
• z-score powers index (includes only the power z-scores, for all channels)
• z-score power ratios index (includes only the power ratio z-scores, for all channels)
• z-score connectivity index (includes only the coherence, phase and amplitude asymmetry z-scores, for all channel pairs)

360 Suite

The suite combines classic physiological biofeedback (arousal and peripheral temperature) with heart rate variability training (HRV) and neurofeedback protocols (EEG biofeedback) into one integrated package.

The suite’s broad selection of tools includes:

• Add the power of real-time z-scores to BioGraph Infiniti. Compare 2 or 4-channel EEG to NeuroGuide’s normative database automatically. Metrics include coherence, phase, amplitude asymmetry, relative power, absolute power and power ratios for eight different frequency bands.
• Simple measure of progress based on combined z-score metric and in-session real-time trending.
• Simplifies training as strategy is always towards norm – instead of an arbitrary value that may be difficult to determine.
• Can also be used in pre- and post- assessment of general connectivity training. In this approach, training can be directly on the metric, such as coherence, for example, whereas post-session analysis can include the z-score deviations of coherence from norm, all within BioGraph Infiniti.
• Faster results: in both the above cases, multiple operations are combined as the need to export data from BioGraph and send away for z-score assessments is eliminated. The power is all in one place, and the strategy is always the same: train towards norm.
